DePIN GPU compute marketplace

Rent the grid.
Compute, on tap.

GridLease maps a decentralized network of GPU nodes into one marketplace. Spin up an H100 cluster for a fine-tune, grab a spare 4090 for a render — priced by the hour in real, live SOL. Here you can walk the whole flow on live data.

Concept & live-data demo. Read-only — nothing is rented, minted, custodied or paid out. Network load and DePIN prices are live; the node grid and job board are a transparent model, priced in real SOL/USD.

The grid

A living map of GPU nodes

Every tile is a provider node offering spare GPU time. Teal tiles are online and idle, violet are running a job, coral are saturated. Click a node to see what it offers. These nodes are a sample roster; their rates are priced in live SOL/USD.

Job board

Compute jobs on the wire

What the grid is chewing through right now — model, hardware, and the hourly rate it pays, in live SOL. A sample feed that re-prices itself every time SOL moves.

Configurator

Rent a core

Build a rental and watch the cost compute live. The hourly rates are a concept price list; the SOL total is calculated from the real, live SOL/USD rate, updated as you change the build.

Rates are a concept price list for illustration. The SOL figure is computed from the live SOL/USD rate (—) at —. No wallet is connected and nothing is charged.

Live, real

Network load

GridLease settles on Solana, so the chain's own throughput is the heartbeat of the grid. These numbers are live from a public Solana RPC — real transactions, real slots, no key.

Measuring throughput…

Transactions / sec…last 60s sample
Slots / sec…block cadence
Epoch…progress
Total tx on chain…all-time
Slot height…chain tip
SOL / USD…settlement unit

Throughput from getRecentPerformanceSamples, epoch from getEpochInfo — public Solana mainnet RPC. If the endpoint rate-limits, panels hold their last reading.

Live, real

The DePIN compute market

GridLease is a concept — but the economy it imagines is real and trading today. Live prices for the networks already renting out GPUs, storage and bandwidth, from DexScreener.

How it works

Spare GPUs in. Compute out. Settled on-chain.

Three hops, each a real place value would move on a live deployment. GridLease models the marketplace that would sit between them.

  1. 01

    Providers list idle GPUs

Anyone with spare hardware — a lab, a studio, a miner — lists their GPUs on the grid with a rate. The node map fills in as capacity comes online.

  2. 02

    You lease by the hour

Pick a GPU, a count and a duration. The configurator prices the job in SOL at the live rate; the grid matches it to idle nodes nearby.

  3. 03

    Work runs, Solana settles

The job runs on the provider's node; payment streams per-second and settles on Solana. When the lease ends, the GPU returns to the idle pool.

What this is, plainly

GridLease is a read-only concept that makes one idea legible — a marketplace for decentralized GPU compute, settled on Solana. The SOL price, Solana network load and DePIN token markets are live and real. The node grid, job board and GPU price list are a transparent model — a sample of what such a marketplace would look like, priced honestly in real SOL. Nothing here rents a GPU, connects a wallet, custodies funds or pays anyone out.

Questions

Straight answers

Can I actually rent a GPU here?

No. GridLease is a concept and live-data demo. The grid map, the job board and the configurator show how a decentralized GPU marketplace would work, but no node is real, no rental is placed, no wallet connects and nothing is charged.

Which numbers are live and which are modelled?

Live: the SOL/USD price (Jupiter), Solana throughput, slots, epoch and slot height (a public Solana RPC), and DePIN token prices (DexScreener). Modelled: the node roster, the job feed and the per-hour GPU rates. Every modelled price is converted to SOL using the live rate so the totals are honest.

Where do the GPU rates come from?

They are a concept price list in a realistic range for today's DePIN compute market — an H100 costs more than a 3090, redundancy and region add a premium. They are illustrative. Only the SOL conversion is live.

Why Solana?

Per-second streaming payments for a compute lease need cheap, fast settlement. Solana's throughput — shown live in the Network load panel — is why marketplaces like this settle there. The chain data is real.
